Bucks County Orthopedic Specialists open new office on campus at St Mary’s Medical Center – theportronline

Langhorne – Bucks County Orthopedic Specialists (BCOS) is thrilled to announce the expansion of their practice and the opening of their brand new office on the campus of St. Mary’s Medical Center in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. The new state-of-the-art office officially opens on June 20, 2022, becoming the firm’s fourth office and its first office in the Lower Bucks County area.

Founded over 40 years ago, BCOS is a full-service orthopedic care provider that has been primarily located in the Central Bucks County area with offices in Doylestown and Warrington. New on-campus office at St Mary’s Medical Center significantly increases their service area, making it easier for patients in Newtown, Yardley, Langhorne, Levittown, Bristol, Bensalem and neighboring New Jersey towns to access their brand exceptional orthopedic care.

“Our mission is to bring to Lower Bucks the same quality of orthopedic services and level of professionalism that we have provided in Doylestown and Warrington for over four decades,” said Randall Gross, CEO of BCOS.

The new office shares many similarities with other BCOS offices. It will provide the full range of orthopedic services, including care for chronic conditions, acute injuries, pain management and non-invasive surgery. The office has a variety of private exam rooms and is designed with BCOS’ signature aesthetic that strikes a balance between sleek and warm, visually representing the kind of care BCOS is revered for – innovative, yet personalized.

While all BCOS practitioners will have hours in the Newtown office, the main doctors on site will be orthopedic surgeons Dr Joshua Steere, who specializes in joint reconstruction, particularly hip and knee replacement, and Dr Andrew Ritting, who specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery.

“We are already treating many patients in the Newtown/Langhorne area,” says Dr. Ritting. “But we know it was sometimes difficult, especially for our elderly patients, to get to Doylestown or Warrington. Our new office will make their diagnosis, treatment, follow-up and routine care much more convenient. »

For the two physicians, who live in the area, the new office provides an excellent opportunity to provide excellent orthopedic care to the community. “Lower Bucks is a wonderful community, so I’m thrilled that BCOS has an office just minutes from where my family and I live,” says Dr. Steere. “I look forward to partnering with the physicians and healthcare professionals of Lower Bucks to provide patient-centered orthopedic care.”

All BCOS surgeons are licensed to perform surgeries at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Doylestown Hospital, and Bucks County Surgical Suites. If surgery is warranted, surgeons will work individually with patients to determine the most appropriate location for their procedure.

The official address of the new office is 1205 Langhorne Newtown Road, Suite 202, Langhorne, PA and it is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Appointments can be made by calling the central scheduling line at 215-348-7000 and there is ample parking in the St. Mary’s Medical Center parking lot and parking lot.

While the office is due to open its doors on Monday, June 20, the excitement is palpable. “We’re so proud of the way we practice medicine,” Gross says. “Providing cutting-edge techniques, with compassionate care from world-class practitioners, is not just our mission, it’s our practice. We couldn’t be happier to expand our service area to our patients. present and future of Lower Bucks County and New Jersey.
